What's the gig?

We're looking for a badass AI/ML Engineering Manager to join our crew. If you're a coding wizard with a knack for leadership and a passion for cutting-edge tech, we want you! You will be reporting to the Founder, who’s also the acting CTO for Hivel.

What you'll be doing?

• Getting your hands dirty with code, architecture, and data analytics (no ivory tower leadership here!)
• Leading a team of brilliant engineers (think: herding cats, but the cats are geniuses)
• Diving headfirst into AI and ML projects (because who doesn't love a good algorithm?)
• Not just staying on top of GenAI and LLM trends, but pushing to production
• Chatting with customers to really get what makes them tick
• Dreaming up solutions that are 10x better than what customers even knew they wanted
• Building a kickass engineering culture that people actually want to be part of

You'd be perfect if you have :

• About 5-8 years of tech experience under your belt (bonus points if you've got battle scars from startup life)
• A track record of leading engineering teams without losing your cool
• Serious AI and ML projects pushed to end user at scale
• The ability to balance coding like a beast with thinking big picture
• A talent for attracting and keeping top-notch talent (no boring interviews allowed)
• Product sense that goes well with technical brilliance
• Ability to speak comfortably with global CTOs at large enterprises on all things tech
• A knack for turning customer requests into game-changing products
• A degree in something techy (extra credit for advanced degrees, but we won't hold it against you if you dropped out to start a company)
